Meet one of our Alumni, Tamiya

Tamiya is a Business Major and Junior at Howard University in Washington DC. She is minoring in entrepreneurship and started her own business called Mia's Good Smells. This upcoming summer Tamiya will be doing an internship in Los Angeles at Amazon Studios through Howard Entertainment. After graduating from Launch, Tamiya attended Berkeley Carroll High School where she followed her passion for dance, advocacy and support for the Black Lives matter movement. While at Launch and throughout high school Tamiya also participated in the Breakthrough NY program.
