In the Alma parent portal parents can see their child’s attendance record and grades in real time.  If you would like the login information for your Alma account, please contact our Operations Manager, Jasmine Cardona (JCardona@launchschool.org) or (718) 715-0547).

The Launch PA works together with administration, staff and students to enrich the Launch community.  They help ensure that families are informed, involved and empowered.  The goal of the PA is to encourage and support participation in school events, and positively impact school culture and advocate for the school.  Parents set an example for their children to embrace their role as productive citizens by becoming stakeholders in their school and community.  The Launch PA meets monthly and also hosts parent circles, which are more informal, safe spaces for parents to connect and share resources in community.  For more information about the Parent Association, contact Ms. Sheryl Davis at sdavis@launchschool.org.

Launch provides MetroCards issued from the NYC Department of Education for students who lives more than one mile from the school. For any student who takes public transportation, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and hand and respiratory hygiene are strongly encouraged.

Breakfast and lunch are provided to students through the NYC Department of Education (DoE) Office of School Food.

Students are welcome to bring their own lunch to supplement what is provided by the DoE. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle each day.
