Who We Serve
We offer free after-school programming at Launch. More than 50% of Launch students participate in our free program that they love!
The programs are designed to reinforce lessons learned during school time in new and creative ways, while at the same time providing opportunities for young people to expand their horizons by learning new skills and nurturing special talents and interests.
Core After-School Programs
Launch after school students participate in career exploration and youth development projects, as well as fun activities like dance, sports, art, music, and cultural classes.
Active Clubs: Dance, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Cheerleading, Tennis, Flag Football, Swimming (with Imagine Swimming)
Career Exploration Clubs: Design, DJ, Hair, Garden, Glam Squad
Specialty Clubs: African Drumming with Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation, Musical Theater with Brooklyn Children's Theater, Recycle a Bicycle
Additional Clubs: Black Student Union, Welcoming Crowd, Launch Ambassador, Lego, Spanish
