Our Vision
Launch High School on Runway Green
Brooklyn's First K-12 Experiential Learning Ecosystem
In partnership with the National Park Service and a coalition of exceptional non-profit and industry partners, we are building Runway Green, a transformational experiential learning campus, on 1,000 acres of National Park Service land in NYC.
The Launch high school will be part of a seven-acre campus that will also include a 3 acre farm, adventure center, hydroponic greenhouses, ecological lab, solar farm, community hall, recreation area, flexible art plaza, and civic entrance with a public amphitheater.
The high school will offer a personalized, place based, learning experience that is focused on sustainability and career readiness. Students will have the opportunity to work with an ecosystem of exceptional partner organizations to solve real-world problems and earn credentials in the growing green economy.
Our Launch high school will be a model for what equitable education, workforce development, and environmental sustainability can look like in the 21st century.
